Privacy Policy
This policy explains information handled by NoiseNest for iPhone and iPad, its advertising providers, and this website.
Your sounds and saved mixes
No account is required. Sound files are bundled in the app. Volume settings, timers and saved mixes are processed on your device. The widget reads saved mixes from shared on-device storage. NoiseNest does not upload your saved mixes or listening selections to a developer-operated service.
Advertising and diagnostics
NoiseNest uses Unity LevelPlay, Unity Ads and the included Ad Quality SDK to display and maintain banner advertising. Before advertising initialization, the app sends declined GDPR consent and a CCPA do-not-sell/share choice. It does not request access to Apple's advertising identifier (IDFA) and does not ask for cross-app tracking permission. These choices do not mean that advertising providers collect no data.
Vendor disclosures describe device and user identifiers, approximate location (such as country inferred from IP), advertising and interaction data, other usage data, performance information, purchase-related data and device information such as language, model and connection type. The Ad Quality SDK also declares diagnostic information. Some SDK information may be linked to a device or user. NoiseNest itself has no account or in-app purchases; the advertising SDK disclosures also cover information processed by those providers. Providers may process a report if you choose to report an advertisement.
The information is used for ad delivery and measurement, fraud prevention, SDK performance, diagnostics and support. The App Store privacy label includes third-party SDK data, not just information handled directly by the developer.
Contact and website visits
If you email support, Jeremy Min receives the email address, message and any attachments you choose to send, and uses them to answer your request. Please avoid sending sensitive information. Website hosting and Cloudflare may process ordinary request information, including IP address, browser details and requested pages, to deliver and protect this website. This site uses no advertising or analytics scripts.
Retention and your choices
You can delete saved mixes in the app. Removing the app and its widget removes locally stored app data; device backups may retain a copy. Advertising providers handle their retained information and privacy requests under their own policies. Support correspondence is retained as needed to resolve and keep a record of your request. Contact us for help with access or deletion requests. Listening continues to work without a network connection.
Children and changes
NoiseNest is not directed specifically at children under 13. We do not knowingly seek children's personal information. We update this page when the app or its information practices change.
